Hey folks,

Onto the links...

Absorbing

Five links for your inbox from this week.

1. DuckDuckGo ad

DuckDuckGo’s new TV ad will air shortly – quite amusing and to-the-point.

2. What are Variable Fonts?

A great overview of Variable Fonts from Figma.

3. The lesser talked-about issues with Web3

In this Harvard Business Review article, Molly White digs into harassment, privacy, the environment and other issues the Web3 world doesn’t seem to be addressing.

4. WordPress’ market share is shrinking

“Anecdotally, more and more people are having a hard time deciding how to build their site on WordPress.”

This was one of the main reasons I started looking for WordPress alternatives. I suspect the frustration and confusion in this point is a shared experience for amateurs and pros alike.

5. RiutBags are soon to be no more

These anti-theft bags are brilliantly designed and very high quality. The bag’s founder, Sarah Giblin, is shutting down the company to focus on a new startup. If you travel with a laptop, check these bags out while they’re still available.

Projects + other things

  • Scruples: we’re booking new projects from August.
  • My Unoffice Hours are available every two weeks on Wednesdays. Next slot: June 1st.
