Absorbing
Five links for your inbox from this week.
1. The new .zip TLD is going to cause some problems
There is a new top-level domain (TLD), .zip, and it’s predictably problematic.
2. Airalo eSims
One of the downsides of the UK leaving the EU is that (UK) mobile networks no longer have to offer free roaming on the continent. Airalo lets you stay connected with reasonably-priced eSIMs.
3. Logseq
Privacy-first, open-source knowledge base to help organise thoughts and notes.
4. Times Dot
Times New Roman, but with “i” and “j” dots that are 190% larger.
5. Nice News
Another newsletter focusing on positive news.
Projects + other things
-
I’m currently booking projects from August onwards. Get in touch if there’s a project you would like to discuss.
-
I’m now offering Power Hours, a simple, low-risk way to get an outside perspective on your website.
-
I recently revoked my 1% For The Planet membership. I’m continuing to donate 1% of my business’ turnover, but this will now be split between projects that take action against climate change and organisations that fight muscular dystrophy.
-
My Unoffice Hours are available every other Wednesday. Next slot: 14th June.
