Five links for your inbox from this week.
1. Pigment
This simple colour palette generator takes a different approach to presenting colour combinations.
2. Software accessibility for users with Dyslexia
A good list of considerations for designing software for people with Dyslexia. It’s good to see more articles talk about fonts for Dyslexia referencing the research, too:
There are quite a few Dyslexia fonts out there, but research shows that they actually don’t help that much, as long as you use a clean sans-serif font it will be fine.
3. Gut
“With intuitive commands and streamlined workflows, Gut simplifies the process of using Git’s complex system, allowing you to focus on your code.”
4. Uno
Uno looks like a really interesting new approach to password management.
5. Deckset
Create presentations from Markdown.
Projects + other things
-
I’m now offering Power Hours, a simple, low-risk way to get an outside perspective on your website.
-
I recently revoked my 1% For The Planet membership. I’m continuing to donate 1% of my business’ turnover, but this will now be split between projects that take action against climate change and organisations that fight muscular dystrophy.
-
I’m currently booking projects from June onwards. Get in touch if there’s a project you would like to discuss.
-
My Unoffice Hours are available every other Wednesday. Next slot: 17th May.
