Absorbing

Five links for your inbox from this week.

1. Fonts designed for dyslexia

Do fonts designed for dyslexia help? The answer seems to be no according to Adrian Roselli’s research. Instead, it’s better to focus on good typographic principles. Well worth a read.

2. Who said it: Musk or Burns

It’s harder than it should be to score 100%.

3. Twitter alt text archiver

Speaking of Twitter…if you’re exporting your tweets, you might also want to export the alternative text from your images. This tool lets you do that.

4. Pitchdeck

Pitchdeck lets you convert Figma designs into animated, editable slide decks.

5. Nicheless

With private likes and responses, Nicheless describes itself as “long form Twitter, minus the status games.”

Projects + other things

  • First impressions of Stage Manager on macOS ventura
  • I’m available for work and booking projects from January 2023
  • My Unoffice Hours are available every other Wednesday. Next slot: November 30th (after this, there’s only one more Unoffice Hours week available this year).

If you enjoy discovering the links in the emails, please tell other people about it: give it a share on Twitter or forward it to someone you think might like it. If you were forwarded this email, you can subscribe here.

If you come across a link/app you think might be of interest to other people on this list, hit reply and let me know.

Until next time,
