Five links for your inbox from this week.

1. Celsius exposes names of all customers

Bankrupt cryptocurrency lending company Celsius Network’s latest court filing reveals “the names and recent transactions of every user on the platform”.

Yet another example of how the privacy angle of cryptocurrency is only paper thin.

2. How I Experience Web Today

Feel familiar?

3. Ruby on Mac

The couple of occasions I’ve tried to install Ruby on my Mac have failed spectacularly. If I need to again, I‘ll try this – it looks pretty handy.

4. Avataaars generator

This project isn’t new, but it’s new to me. Could be a useful tool for mockups and/or testimonial headshots.

5. UX equity fund

An incredibly generous person has put together a document and equity fund that “shares free and low cost UX (user experience, content, design, research) materials for you to enjoy. All of these have been reviewed and vetted for quality and cost.”

Brilliant.

Projects + other things

  • Scruples is on hiatus, so I’m available for work
  • Why I switched from a Popular Backup Service™
  • My Unoffice Hours are available every other Wednesday. Next slot: October 19th.
