Five links for your inbox from this week.
1. Accessibility Overlay Fact Sheet
A whole industry has sprung up around making websites ‘accessible’ with automated tools. This site highlights the many issues of these widgets. It was particularly interesting to see the privacy issues that these can create.
2. How much does your meeting cost?
A nifty live calculator to know how much your meeting costs in real-time.
3. OutHorse your email
An amusing campaign from Iceland (the country, not the frozen food chain).
4. Firefox translation extension
A great new translation browser extension from Firefox. Unlike many translation tools, the content doesn’t leave your computer, so it’s much better from a privacy perspective.
5. WCAG 2.1 Guide
A helpful reference for web content accessibility guidelines – well-worth checking out.
Projects + other things
- Privacy’s time is now – a new piece on Below Radar looking at why, sooner or later, organisations will have to start taking user privacy seriously
- Scruples: we’re booking new projects from August.
- My Unoffice Hours are available every other Wednesday. Next slot: July 27th.
