Postkort fra 2048: The Field Trip Was Mostly Fine
Dear Alma,
We had the big field trip today. The one I told you about. The one everybody said was going to be amazing. It was fine. ← (that's what my dad says when something is not amazing.)
We went to the new Climate Atrium by the lakes. You walk in and there is a whole fake beech forest with real butterflies that are supposed to pollinate stuff and also not die. A guide with a soft voice told us about carbon and how we are "the generation that gets to fix it." I have heard this sentence approximately one thousand times. My friend Viggo counted seven times just today.
The butterflies mostly sat on the ceiling. One landed on Nadia's hair and she screamed and then pretended she didn't. I drew it. (little arrow →)
On the way home the bus rerouted itself because of a protest on H.C. Andersens and we sat for 40 minutes. I ate all my raisins.
I think I am too old to be excited about field trips now. That's a weird thing to find out on a Tuesday.
Bastian is asleep on my math book. He has the right idea.
