Postkort fra 2045: The Slate That Guessed Wrong

Dear Alma,
Okay I have a QUESTION. →
In science today the room-slate showed us a cloud and said it would rain over Frederiksberg at 15:40. And it DID. Exactly. But then I asked it how the cloud felt about it and it said "clouds do not have feelings, Oskar." So how does it know EVERYTHING about the rain but nothing about the cloud? That seems backwards. Bastian knows nothing about rain and everything about feelings. He felt sad at 15:39 (before the rain!) so maybe HE is the better weather machine.
I drew the cloud for you. It has a slightly annoyed face. Not because I’m sad, just because I think it would be, being predicted all the time.
I got the second-best mark in the class. Which is basically first if you don’t count Yusuf, who is a genius, so. Fine. It’s first-ish.
It smells like wet pavement here now, the good kind. Mor opened all the windows.
Do you have clouds in Skagen or just the sea? Please investigate and report back.
Oskar (og Bastian) 🐉
