Everything is a summary now. The email was three paragraphs, I got a bullet point. The meeting ran forty minutes, calendar shows "Key Takeaways: 2." Signe told me a story about her day—my glasses generated a TL;DR before she finished. I said I'd read the full version later. I didn't.

Lars sent a ten-page report. The system condensed it to four sentences, then offered an "executive snapshot" (one sentence), then a "glanceable insight" (three words: "Mostly fine, concerns"). I forwarded the three-word version. He's furious. Can't remember why.

Henrik's birthday message got auto-shortened to "HBD + emoji." The emoji was algorithmically selected. Not sure which one. The summary said "celebratory tone detected."

We're living in a world of annotations without text, sparknotes without books, trailers without films. Conversation is just data compression now.
