Postkort fra 2039: What We Told the Tablet

Kære Kasper
Something has happened and I need to tell someone young about it.
You know the tablet the kommune gave me, the one that asks about my childhood so it can "keep my memories warm"? Ruth got one too. And last Tuesday we discovered — over coffee, in the courtyard, the chestnut still green — that it believes absolutely everything.
So now we compete. Ruth told it she was raised on a lightship off Anholt and it made her a whole harbour, gulls and all, and asked her tenderly whether her father's hands smelled of tar. I told it I was Denmark's third-best javelin thrower in 1974 and it congratulated me for nine minutes.
Ruth is winning. She has a Portuguese first marriage now. I have only the javelin and a fictional dog.
Your mother thinks this is undignified. I think it is the most fun I have had since... well.
The funny thing is, Preben would have been merciless at this game. He lied beautifully. He once convinced a whole ferry he was a bishop.
Anyway. Tell me something untrue about Aarhus and I'll feed it in.
Bedstemor, undefeated in javelin
