Decision or default

I know what kind of day this is.

It’s an amazing day.

Because I’ve decided that.

Chosen that.

Opted out of guessing.

Not settling for the default setting.

That has nothing to do with the day ahead.

And has everything to do with what I bring to it.

I’ve decided what kind of day I’m going to have.

And so long as I keep deciding, I have that day.
