Hello friends!

How’s it going. We had so much on Thursday with Art~Hack! The decks were full at DOOF HQ and everyone was OSHA compliant.

We all knew how to operate heavy machinery and nothing burst into flame. At least, that’s what the paperwork I had to sign off on says! No one submitted any injury reports, probably because they were too busy dancing to get any work done.

Keys were cleverly hidden around the oil rig that unlocked huge props like the operating crane, shipping containers and eventually a helicopter (that may or may not have immediately caught fire). The screens to the live Art~Hack stream were busy with everyone in hi-vis gear. Thanks for putting safety first!

Now we look ahead to the next event - A Bug’s Doof 2 at the beginning of June. I’m already buzzing with excitement!

Gidget’s Updates

Our backend infrastructure test at Art~Hack was a success! Guests reported having a good time online. We found a number of bugs including some unexpected connection drop-outs, a lack of lighting on mobile, and an interesting glitch that made everyone’s avatar preview look like a sleep paralysis demon. We will endeavour to get these fixed before our next doof. 🧑‍💻
