Hello friends!

Welcome back to CYBERWORLD MINI. How are you doing? Below we have nostalgic lookbacks, upcoming events, announcements, music, comics… can you believe it!

We’re still thinking about Mali’s Mini Doof from the other week, a fantastic event featuring some of the musicians you’ve probably seen organising or performing at doofs already. Malice Coltrane coordinated the event and played along with Skullzy, 5QRL, DJ BBGUN… even Terkel was on for an hour, debuting their new EP! My gosh, that duck can do anything. DOOF CORP built a party world that completely shifted with each performer, surrounded on all sides by the livestream. It felt like being swallowed by the sky, but we all liked it! Maybe heaven is being happily overwhelmed at a party with your friends.

Gidget’s Updates

While we plug away, DOOF CORP welcomes a new team member. Jack has joined the group to help out with product engineering. We've tasked him across various projects including refining the Cyberdoof client & gameplay, enhancing the space building experience, and supporting changes to our infrastructure. Everyone say welcome, Jack.

Upcoming Doofs

DOOF~HACK - Thurs 14 May 6-10pm NZT

Art~Hack at DOOF CORP HQ is back in March! This weekly Te-Whanganui-a-Tara event is a “social gathering for creative tech” and includes all kinds like DJs, synth lords, code freaks and video artists. This one will be “open deck” theme with big DJ decks on hand, so bring a USB with tunes if you are local and want to play. Doof link will be posted day-of on cyberdoof.com.

A Bug’s Doof 2 - Fri 5 June UST/Sat 6 June NZT

DOOF CORP wants to do another spin in the insect world they made for GSG club, so put on some wings and pour out some bug juice. Save the date, more details announced soon.
