After holding ticket prices for several years, Cwmdu Music is reluctantly raising its adult ticket price to £15, due to increased overheads and performer fees. We are grateful for support for this higher price in audience questionnaires. While any price rise is difficult at this time, we believe this ticket level represents excellent value for the high quality of performers planned for the forthcoming year.
Don't forget that Cwmdu's community pub The Farmers Arms is open for pre-concert drinks and food.
Those of you fortunate enough to obtain tickets and navigate the changed date for our July concert with Folk band ALAW were treated to a spectacular evening. Fine performers, acutely attuned to each others' playing with pieces ranging from foot-stomping joy of The Niffy Maggot/Johnny's Welcome Home to the reflection of Hiraeth–they left us spellbound and envigorated on an unseasonally rainy evening.
Many thanks to those who filled out our questionnaire forms.
