The young Guildhall-trained quartet has enjoyed huge success since they joined forces at college in 2019. They are the only ensemble ever to win both the First and Audience Prize at the Premio Paolo Borciani International String Quartet Competition in 2024. Other awards include First Prize in the Cavatina Chamber Music Competition, The RPS Henderson Chamber Ensemble Award and First Prize in the International Triomphe de l’Art Competition in Belgium.

Following their Edinburgh International Festival debut last summer David Kettle of The Scotsman noted:

“You can quickly see why the young Fibonacci Quartet have done so well in international competitions. In short, because they are astonishingly good.”

As well as visiting us in Cwmdu in May, the quartet’s busy 2026/7 schedule takes them to Vienna Musikverein, Berlin Philharmonie, Hamburg Elbphilharmonie, Frankfurt Alte Oper, Wigmore Hall, Munich Prinzregententheater and Philharmonie de Paris.
