Friends of Cwmdu Music-Emma Rawicz Trio tickets

Tickets for our next concert, just a month away on Saturday March 14th in Cwmdu are in great demand, so we’d recommend purchasing sooner rather than later! We plan to have some tickets available at the door, but these may be limited.

Details of the concert are at https://info.cwmdumusic.org/tags/next.html and tickets are at https://info.cwmdumusic.org/Tickets.html. Here’s a YouTube video flavour of what you might expect to hear (though this is as a quartet, as opposed to our event’s trio), but highlights Emma’s abilities.

Brecon Singers have an event on Sunday 26th April 2026 3pm, St Mary’s Church, Brecon.

Haydn, St Nicholas Mass.

Mozart, Ave Verum.

Accompanied by Gwent Chamber Orchestra.

Wireless listening (radiogram or smart speaker)

One of last week’s BBC R3 Classical Live included a BBC NOW performance of Malcolm Arnold Symphony No. 5 alongside Haydn, Prokofiev and Anna Lapwood playing a work by Hans Zimmer.

Our links at the bottom of this mailing include one to a ‘social media’ service we make use of – ‘tŵt cymru | toot.wales’ which is part of a worldwide federated service (Mastodon, hence the logo)…

…in which you can join an online community to serve your particular interests, but which nevertheless has a large reach and membership. Think of this as analogous to the organisation ‘u3a’ (motto: “Connect with others through the things you love”), rather than the mainstream social networks which may appear to have rather less altruistic mottos.

Anyway, toot.wales is about to launch its own app on Saint David’s Day/Dydd Gŵyl Dewi (though you can use the service on the web or a plethora of 3rd party apps).

If you’re a member or organiser of other Arts organisations in Wales we’d encourage you to join this community!
