Happy Thursday! How are all of you doing? This week has been fucking bleak. Thank goodness for that one sunny day because I have been struggling to endure. My focus is shot; my energy is down; my soul is deplenished! When is my next trip?? I need adventure. 

Anyway, I have nothing for you this week. I mean, of course I have recommendations but beyond that, no fun stories. Sorry! Hope y'all are doing well.

Recommendations:

• Okay so a few of you have heard me talk about it but you know what? You should watch Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. I spent so much of the movie laughing out loud (I loved the parody of Jiminy Cricket so much), and it had a really good message and an awesome villain. Also the animation style was beautiful. Go watch it! It's silly.
   
• As someone who hates driving but can do it, I always love listening to pieces about why cities should be more pedestrian friendly. Did I almost get run over in Rome multiple times? Yes. Did I also dramatically walk in front of cars because it was my right of way? Yes. Does this article have anything to do with Italy? No, but it's a good listen (also the creator apparently hates Houston's city planning but I have no thoughts on that!).
   
• Another video BUT this is an interesting video about sound design in films and tv shows and how we can't fucking hear anything anymore. They call him out but Christopher Nolan is so bad with this. "You just have to experience the film the way I want" NO CHRIS, I can't FUCKING HEAR THE DIALOGUE. Gosh.
