I know I know - the long weekend (which was successfully taken!) threw me off, then I went into the office on Thursday for that sweet sweet air conditioning and then I went to Ikea! Which was great but I didn't get home until 10pm! And by 11:30 I went to bed and as I lay in bed, I was like "SHIT."

So a day late. Whoops!

Hope you had a nice fourth! I had a LOVELY one - impromptu picnics are always lovely especially indoors with AC and with delicious food and lovely friends. But! It's my least favorite time of year. I hate summer. HATE summer. "Oh but Brie, summer Fridays! But the beach!" Do you like dripping with sweat because you happened to look outside??? Maybe you do! But I know there are only so many layers one can peel off before you get to skin and summer! Is the worst!

Bonus recommendation: this Japanese netflix movie trailer! What is it about? Idk! My Japanese is only good enough to catch every 10th word. but it looks super cute!
