Happy Thursday!

Holy jeez, it's HOT out there. I went out to get ramen with a friend (hi Miriam! :D), and it felt like walking through soup outside. So we got sandwiches instead. I had a grand plan of exploring outside today as well but I think I will explore some of the new books my mentee gave me! :D

How are things for y'all? Me? I'm on vacation - mostly! I took Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday off. Why? Because I need to use days and I have 800 things do to next week, and things to do downtown on Wednesday. Does it make sense? Idk! It worked for me. 

Anyway, I recently finished a few books, one being the second book in The Wolf Den trilogy (which I highly recommend!), a romance that was fine, and I'm starting the infamous Fourth Wing which is bad, tbh! I'm sure it'll get worse but I'm about 1.5 hours into the audiobook and I'm annoyed. I have to endure (for book club, so I can't even say I'm hate reading for no reason!). But I've really had a bad run in terms of books. Fingers crossed one of the 20+ NetGalley books I have breaks me out of the slump! 

But also who needs books when you're replaying Persona 5 Royal and deciding to go hang out with your favorite character instead of, idk, advancing the plot? Not meeee.

Stay cool today for my friends on the east coast! I'm doing Barbieheimer tomorrow, which truly was some good timing. Terrible heat wave + 6 hours of movies? There we go! If you've seen either, feel free to message me like... Saturday morning with your thoughts!

• So my recommendation is from Muji which I realize not everyone has access to (but they do ship!) and there's a sale!!! Today and tomorrow! Get on it if you're curious. But! Honestly, the older I get, the more I realize that cleaning is... dare I say, fun? Well, not fun, but comforting to be like "okay, my home is not only vacuumed, it is STEAM CLEANED and DUSTED and it's mine and it looks lovely." But what I wanted to discuss is how I've discovered the joy of lint rolling... everything. I got this from Muji (but a quick search for like lint roller for carpet found me something similar), but I use this thing on my rug and my furniture (just not in that order). I still vacuum and steam clean (:D) but there's something so satisfying about being able to clean off the stuff immediately with not a single hassle. 
   
• "Brieana we know to expect, what's the D&D thing today?" I'm so glad you asked!!! A new season of Dimension 20 just dropped the trailer and I am loving this cast!!! Honestly, I'm at the point where they could be role playing doing their taxes and if my favorite cast members are there, I will show up. I ...don't have a witty response like the Dungeons and Drag Queens to describe this season, because if I'm being honest, I'm confused!! But will I be there when it drops? Yep.
