Hi - happy Thursday.
Sometimes you can push through and sometimes it feels like you're drowning and keeping your head above water is all you can do, and even that's not enough. And even when I joke about screaming into the void, there's something about the lack of response the void gives that truly makes one feel like they're losing it. Anyway, I've been treading water for what feels like weeks now but I can finally breathe just in time for things to be overwhelming again but at least it's enough.
BUT I had some fun things I found last week that I've been wanting to talk about them so here we go!
Also! I did a little jaunt around NYC in a CAR and it was terrifying and then I found good parking!!! All by myself. :)
One thing I
won't talk about is how much D&D I've been watching but I've had fun watching which, apparently, is all that matters. Except now I
have to talk about it because they're doing a
DUNGEONS AND DRAG QUEENS season I am screaming.
I'm not recommending them per se but I watched
Akira, finally, mainly thanks to the
stupid meme that is going around... It's a weird little movie! But I also watched
Neon Genesis Evangelion a while ago and THAT is a weird fucking show, so nothing compares. I also read
Mary: An Awakening of Terror by Nat Cassidy and THAT was a slow build that was a little excruciating if I'm going to be honest. The payoff was worth it but it was SLOW.
But for things I recommend, the
Nimona trailer is out!!!
We all loved reading about the Try Guys and the falling of the Wife Guy Ned (I'm not finding that for you. Do a Google), but I stumbled onto a youtube channel that interviews creatives about their process and they interviewed two of the remaining three
Try Guys. And then they also interviewed
Cassey Ho, owner of Blogilaties, which was more fascinating to me as I used to be a huge fan of hers but as she pulled away from fitness and into fashion, I hit a divide and no longer follow her. But the interviewers were excellent with fascinating questions for both!
Anyway - have a good weekend! Also here's a nice bit of
advice I saw today and that I need to remember. :)
