Happy Thursday!
To everyone who works with Teams, please note that next to the gif tab there is a stickers tab, where they have some of the most amazing stickers possible. My favorite are the legal shark stickers.
Please see my favorite one as our meme this week. But also you can edit what the text says. It's perfect. It's wonderful.
Sorry, had to get that out of the way first. How y'all doing? We good? It is WARM which is always a fun thing to remember as you go to make pottery in a warm studio. Despite the fact that it is April, it feels as though Summer is truly upon us and there's no escaping it. It's absolutely beautiful outside which is funny considering last week, I was complaining about the heat. I'm
multi-dimensional.
I want to make a note to everyone reading to make sure you know your worth. Sometimes, I really feel as though I'm still 21 and trying to make sure everyone thinks I work hard, and then I remember I'm older than time, and that my work speaks for itself. And that people are like "oh no, Brieana is a great colleague" and I will think "oh no, I am 37 rats in a trench coast, and
people will find out." Basically! You gotta remember to keep notes as to what awesome project you worked on and things of that ilk. You never know who is bringing your name up in rooms and when you need to be ready to hype yourself up, it's good to have things to discuss.
Not that it's related to anything going on. Or. Anything. Haha
*is actually 39 rats in a trench coat*
Recommendations! Did I accidentally make this
Oops! All Pedro Pascal? Yes I did!
- I really enjoyed the Pedro Pascal Esquire interview for the photos... and the interview! He's an interesting interviewer and he had a small comment about not being in the right "space" for his age and how that doesn't matter, which I appreciated. Not going through the "set" path at an age - getting married, buying a house, having kids - isn't as important as doing what you want to do with your life, which sometimes, I need to be reminded of!
- The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent was SUCH a hilarious movie. It's Nic Cage playing... Nic Cage an attempting to get his mojo back. Did I watch this for the meme? Yes. But Oh my GOOOOOD. It's hilarious. It's such a fun movie, once you get past the first 20 minutes of sadness. It's... a romcom, looking at this trailer they cut! But if you're not sure if you want to see the movie, watch the Paddington 2 scene to get the vibe.
- And uh, idk I needed one more to round this out, but if you haven't seen Pedro Pascal on First We Feast, which always has such incredible interviews, you need to!
Have a wonderful weekend!
