Sometimes you're just like lemme get past this week and then you realize it's not this week or this month or this year or this decade or this millennia it's just how it is! Which is something I'll confront but lmao not today!

So as I'm writing this, I am baking a lemon blueberry loaf (in a bundt pan because someone has one pan), and fingers crossed it's edible because that took forever. Also! It's hilarious how life mimics other things because I was like "wow, if only I had a device that could help me whisk the butter but I'm struggling. If only I had a mixer. A mixer that had a stand or something. OH WAIT." And let me tell you, that made it a lot easier.

Edit: When the recipe says to use parchment paper, don't be like "oh I've baked a couple of times before, I know this" use the parchment paper. :(((( That being said, it is quite delicious!

How do I talk about D&D without talking about D&D? Well DON'T YOU WORRY - this is a fascinating interview between the heads of Dropout.tv (where the D&D is hosted!) and Nebula. Very different approaches to streaming services that aren't the big ones but a really interesting look at how to handle making a smaller niche company in a massive space.

I also finished a few books recently!
- The Good Enough Job - or why killing yourself at work isn't worth it! Yes, I WAS listening to this while working during my vacation! How did you know.
- Silver Nitrate (by my girl Silva Moreno-Garcia) - or why accidentally summoning a cult leader from the beyond through film is a bad idea!! (Out in July) Perfect for noir fans.

Both were quite good for different reasons! 

And leaving you with a fun little lofi hip hop beats to chill to - someone made one of Final Fantasy X! It's super cute and despite it only being an hour, I've been going back to it quite a bit.
