Well this is going to be a weird newsletter and maybe I won't have to send it out.
Happy Thursday! I broke my laptop on Sunday and this is Brieana in the past trying to make sure you have some content while I'm still laptop-less.
Update from Thursday - I got my laptop back! Truly, if you're going to break something that takes 3-5 business days to fix, break it on a Sunday and have it back to you by Thursday. Goodness - I had an important call at 4pm and it showed up at 3:45. What a delight. I missed you buddy!
Anyway, how are we doing? Everyone at work is trying me. I did something that reminded me that I'm am a competent and pretty awesome employee! I am so tired and sad. I have plants that will murder me. Idk, if nothing else, thank goodness that this weather has calmed down. It was actually chilly when I went for my daily walk at 7pm.
I'm going to send along some recommendations and hopefully that will inspire you because *screams*
- I started working on my Lego Dried Flower Centerpiece (ironically, I did it so I would be off the computer and then it slipped as I was trying to close it!!) but! It was so relaxing. And fun?? Idk, I was never a big lego person growing up but they really made it... dare I say easier? Each "portion" is broken into different bags for us adults who don't have time to clean up every piece (and I thought I had lost one!). But it's really fun. I recommend. (Idk I'm tempted... on this typewriter. Until I saw the price! Whew!!!)
- I realized I forgot to mention but I did Barbieheimer last week!!!!!! It was something - Nolan can't write women, the Barbie movie had a wonderful audience, and by the time I got home, my brain was mush. Nothing like spending 6 ish hours consuming media. :) I have deeper thoughts on both movies, but if nothing else, I've been rocking out to "I'm Just Ken" from Barbie since I saw it. If you haven't seen the movie, please don't watch!! Going in completely blind made the movie so much more delightful. Also their puppy interview?? Probably one of the best I've seen. I liked Ryan Gosling from the movie The Nice Guys I recommended a little while ago, but if you haven't seen his interview with Harrison Ford that is JUST pure chaos? Watch it now, I beg of you.
- This is getting long so I'm going to end with sending you to my company IG Live with one of our translators (and one of PRH's!)! I watched it for work, but the translators (Anton Hur and Victoria Caudle) are so... intelligent?? And fascinating?? I was actually really interested instead of just paying attention as a work thing.
Anyway, have a great weekend! If you need me, don't. :)
