I used a blowtorch to make a LAMP
Hello! Good day. I'm exhausted because I got home super late last night after USING A BLOWTORCH to MAKE A COPPER LAMP.
Yes! I decided to truly embrace my yolo era and try a bunch of things. I stumbled across this place on IG and truly in a moment of fuck it, I took a copper lamp building class. It was amazing! I ended up meeting some really lovely people, I again, used a blow torch, to soldier together pieces. It turned on!! I'm linking a post so you can truly watch my shooketh reaction when it did.
So I not only recommend you try random classes you have around you, but also try random stuff! As someone who has always wanted to use a blow torch, actually using one went from super nerve wracking to like - very easy? So easy. Like that was incredibly easy who even ~cares~ I used a ~blow torch and created my own lamp! And now I will use this confidence to, I don't even know, rewire my own home!* Anything is possible if you believe in yourself!

- So! I don't know if you are a fan of Dan and Phil on YouTube - I knew of them but not particularly (mostly friends of friends liked them) and I worked on one of their books. But there was an interesting book that Dan put out called You Will Get Through This Night which he calls a practical mental health guide. Was it anything new? Not really, but was it nice to hear some positive things regardless? Yes. As usual, the audiobook is quite good so if you're a fan of his, check it out.
- A friend of mine does composing and she recently released the album for the game she worked on, The Spirit and the Mouse. It looks super cute but her album is amazing!! Listen here on Youtube. It's cute and jaunty. :)
- Idk I'm exhausted - go look at this cute comic about a mountain who hasn't seen any movies! :(
