It's Thursday.
I hope you had a delightful Halloween! I... forgot about it, but I did go to a fun party last Friday and made some new friends. And on the day, I watched my favorite spooky films, The Cabin in the Woods and The Nightmare Before Christmas! If you haven't seen The Cabin In The Woods, pleaaaase do. But don't look anything up!! Just know that it's horror and has spooky scenes and I love it so much.
I also spent the weekend seeing lovely people BUT ALSO doing a lot of work and on the one hand, working on the weekend is bad, but I did get to dip my toes into something I actually like doing, which always makes me sad that I barely get to do it because instead I have to *checks notes* reinvent the wheel with *checks notes again* four dollars. But whatever.
Anyway, if you can't tell, I'm compeltely fine but also wiped. But happy birthday to two people who read this, Dani and Eryn!!!! Early November birthdays. Scorpio season babyyyyy.
- Daniel Radcliffe is producing a documentary about his stunt person from the Harry Potter series who got badly injured on the set of The Deathly Hallows. Honestly, the more I see DanRad as we get older, the lovelier he is. He's just such a kind person and they do emphasize how they all grew up together during the series but like, to do this and continue to shed light on it and how stunt doubles truly put themselves in great danger for entertainment... I'll probably watch and I'll probably cry while doing so!
- Here is a really interesting article about what it's like to be an adult and everytime you see you're friends, you're "Catching up over dinner." Which can lead to friendships growing stale. Which, like, is truly bonkers. Shout out to any of the friends reading this who have gone on shopping adventures with me or even just existed with me for long periods of time. There's nothing wrong with catching up over dinner (I emphasize as I plan to do with some people soon!!!), but like, the article talks about how when we were kids, friendships were forged through "play" and "adventure" and we just don't really have that as adults. There's something delightful about doing little chores with friends but sometimes, it's the chaotic bullshit that I miss the most.
- And here is an interesting video about the realities of owning a tiny home. Not going to lie, I have way too much shit in my life to do so, but the appeal of owning sounds so lovely... and I appreciate how she goes into detail how she was opened eyed about it as well, and then got slammed with realities of the situation.
Anyway, I hope you have a lovely weekend and idk, do your best to forget about work!!!!!
