friendship is a weird thing
You know, why is it that short weeks are somehow always 1000% longer than every other week. Yes, that is how I'm starting this newsletter out! No welcome - just vibes and stress! Why did everyone schedule a meeting with me today or tomorrow? Your girl is BOOKED and BUSY and TIRED.
Think about one of your closest friends. How did you all meet? Heck, how did we meet? It's so strange when you think about the circumstances that led you to meeting someone and how the world would've been so different if you hadn't.
For example, I was once upon a time, a finance major (lmao I changed back to marketing after like one week), but I wouldn't have applied to a publishing house if I was in finance. I also worked to move to Los Angles both pre and post college and I don't think I would know almost any of you if I had succeeded in that. Would I have even written this newsletter? Would I even enjoy writing??

Anyway.
Maybe I'm feeling wistful with the snow gently falling outside. Maybe this is because of the NyQuil I took last night to stave off a four day migraine (we love to suffer). But it's weird to think about how so many things could be different if one thing had changed.
