Hi! Things are crazy and I went down a special rabbit hole into hell. D&D Hell that is! Wow I've consumed so much D&D content in the last few weeks it's really something.
Anyway, back to my favorite thing - not having to text 20+ people the same links over and over! Oh wait some of these I already sent? Too bad! I love them anyway. Maybe we'll be back to our regularly scheduled content next week? Who knows!
Did you study abroad? Did you like it? I hope you took advantage and traveled a bunch while you were there... unlike THIS person! She went to Florence and hated every part of it! Her roommates wanted to travel but not to the places she did! She had to work ...just ...like them! But her work was more important! She didn't understand why people hated the Americans as she began to stroll around in track suits! Tbh she was probably homesick as hell, and I kind of feel bad for her because the internet is tearing her apart.... but I also laughed. A lot.
Sorry to everyone who has been forced to see random clips from a show called Game Changer but it's GREAT. Polygon did a write up about it recently, and while there's a long history of the streaming service (basically it was College Humor, they sold College Humor, and then they transitioned into more content like this on a streaming platform called Dropout), but Game Changer is really taking a show and forcing people to interact with it in a different way. And this episode was gold - they locked three contestants in a room and it became an escape room. I'm sending two clips from it which were just amazing - in one, as soon as the escape room begins, people starts smashing everything in sight, including a guitar; and in another, they ask for assistance from a crew member when the remote controlled car flips over, quoting what I said in the subject line. My descriptions are only so good; but the videos are perfection..
I'm sure you saw SNL with Pedro Pascal but they did an oral history of the sketch "Cook MY Meat" (not what it's called and I don't even care!) where a woman is doing her damndest to cut up some dry ass meat. Above is the sketch and here is the write up!
