Spring 2026 Around Learning Ukulele with Curt * LearningUkulele.com

It’s spring around here in the Northern Hemisphere (USA). A lot of updates to the goodies. LearningUkulele.com has grown to almost 1000 lessons (975), 140+ Songs, Enhanced Lessons Series features, Premium One-of-a-kind Play-along Tracks, and lots more. One can get lost for days, just taking in all that is available. And ALL of my (Curt Sheller) books are available for viewing online, ALL the content for FREE. Just like you can when visiting a bookstore, you see it ALL before deciding if you like it. Not just a few pages like on most sites and Amazon (mostly the first page of the book that is not actually content).

ALL of Curt's books are available as FREE downloads to paid subscribers and/or private students.

NEW 2026 Site Layout * Went a lot faster than I thought and shaping up really nicely.

Changes & Updates Around LearningUkulele.com

  • NEW Lessons Series Feature. The Lessons Series index page can now track your progress, showing the lesson in the series that you have tagged as completed. Individual lessons that you have tagged as completed will be marked as completed.

    Track Your Completed Lessons

You can then view your Favorites, Completed Lessons, and Assigned Lessons in [Your Site Profile & Settings](https://learningukulele.com/settings/profile) section.

  • Added Pluck ON!      , a week long ukulele orchestra program in Haliburton, Ontario, Canada, the Oléron Ukulélé Festival, and Tampa Bay Ukulele Days, Stuttgart Ukulele Festival from May 14 to May 17, 2026, Stuttgart, Germany, as well as a bunch of others in the Ukulele Festivals section.

  • An underused feature and section of LearningUkulele.com is the 67 Custom Premium Play-along Tracks. ALL the premium play-along tracks are available for playing and previewing on the Play-alongs site page. There are premium, custom, and one-of-a-kind tracks I created many moons ago with Chuck Anderson.

    Updated Lessons

    • History of the Ukulele

    • Common Ukulele Sizes

    • Tune-Up! Tuning Your Ukulele

    • Getting Started Series of Ukulele Lessons

    • What is the Difference Between a Scale and a Mode? , part of the QuickStart Scale and Arpeggio Fingering Series. Modes are not as mysterious as you might think.

The full list of most recently updated lessons can be found on the Lessons Index page.

Good Trade!

Woman is at a uke festival with a lovely soprano ukulele under her arm. Another woman walks up and gazes admiringly at the first woman's uke, at which point the woman holding the uke looks over and says with a smile: got it for my husband. Second woman nods and says, good trade.

Ukulele Festival season is in full swing. Check out the Ukulele Festivals section to find festivals near you or even start your own if there aren’t any close.
