Cursed Zines!
Pre-order these nasty little morsels today
Recently, I started up a zine project for the press, and I’m delighted to say that the first zine bundle is now up for pre-order from the Cursed Morsels store!
Let’s peel back the mildewed curtain on each of the zines included in the bundle…
Issue #1 includes two stories based on the theme “landlord lair.” Cormack Baldwin and Íde Hennessy really bring the strangeness!
Issue #2 features an essay by Ayida Shonibar that beautifully illustrates why erotic horror is such a vital vehicle for connecting to our sexualities.
Issue #3 takes a look at the worst Florida Man—Ron DeSantis—through a deep-sea horror story by Bitter Karella and a blackout poem by M. Lopes da Silva.
Issue #4 will surely feature in /r/MandelaEffect someday with its reviews of horror movies that don’t exist by Joe Koch, Xavier Garcia, and Sarah Peploe.
And issue #5 will satisfy any goth birdwatchers out there with stories by Sam Richard, R.L. Summerling, and D. Matthew Urban, plus a bird woodcut by Bella De Bonne.
Sounds rad, right?!
Folks in the United States can pre-order the physical zine bundle here.
If you’re outside the United States—or just prefer digital reading—you can pre-order the digital bundle here. Note that it only comes in PDF form.
Both physical and digital bundles will go out to people in mid-February.
I hope you all enjoy these zines. I had a blast putting them together!
