Hello and happy cozy season! October was pretty cool. (Don’t) Call Me Crazy came out and I got to hang out with some cool people at an event and read (!!!) from my essay. If you haven’t done so yet, please get your hands on this book. It’s a wonderful and important collection about so many facets of mental health and living with a mental illness. It just may be the perfect gift for a young person in your life.

Oh, and I got to see Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey shoot the breeze while promoting Michelle’s new memoir, Becoming, last week. I got one of the last signed copies available at the show. I haven’t started reading it yet, though. I’m still feeling rejuvenated and alive after that evening full of sisterhood and grace.
