Crooked Ink - New story: Calipso
Hello there! 🍸
Finally, after a few months, I was able to write a new short story—just in time for my birthday! 🎉
Unfortunately for my readers who prefer the English language –here is a photo of them–, this last tale was written in Italian 🇮🇹.
The idea came from an old sketch I wrote down more than a year ago: in a certain room, one can hear sounds from another place on the planet... then, while developing the ideas, it changed a little bit.
So, if you can read Italian... here is the link: https://crooked.ink/stories/calipso/
As bonus for the newsletter, here are some very exclusive pictures from the Morsasco castle.
It is the castle of the village where I (will) live. Unfortunately, most of the furniture was sold before 1990, but some salons still have an amazing charm.
If you book a visit, you can see most of the rooms, including a couple of prison cells in the tower, on whom walls prisoners wrote their stories and made some drawings.
And of course, the cellars are impressive!
If you happen to be in southern Piedmont, come visit us!
At last, here is a suggestion as soundtrack for these rainy days:
- Lorelei by Winter At Sea
- First Two Pages of Frankenstein by The National
Let me know your thoughts: get in touch!
Thank you for your time!
