Closing Thoughts
The standard for the MVP has changed. Customers expect more out of the new products they use. For this reason, we’re making a small tactical shift to our acquisition strategy. Instead of starting with design, marketing and dev agencies, we are pursuing a few verticals where they’re looking for tools and haven’t adopted many.
For example, the theater company I met with has been printing physical checks from clunky accounting software and chasing directors, crew and musicians around for W9 information.
Between the arts/non-profit space, churches, health and a few others, we’ll have a viable audience to sell our current application to.
This will enable us a little more time to polish the UI and release a few more needed features before going after more scrupulous customer segments.
