Closing Thoughts

Holiday week! Happy Canada day and Independence Day!

As we make the shift to a contract-first approach to acquisition, I’ve been thinking a lot about how to acquire our first 1000 new contractors. Here are the approaches I’m leaning towards.

Over the next few weeks, my hope is to share more details. Right now, this is mostly thinking out loud.

Before I jump in, these aren’t new or inventive. They’re tried and true. Almost all the startups you know and use have implemented one or maybe two of these.

Part of the refocus means going back to our target customers and asking:

  1. Who is the precise customer I am attempting to serve?
  2. What can CrewPay offer them that is remarkably better than the alternatives?

Acquisition approaches:

  1. Outreach:
    • Online to where the customers are
    • Offline to where the customers are
  2. Referral/Network effect
    • Invite your friends
    • Get paid to use CrewPay
  3. Partnerships

More to come!

Have a great week.

Ever,
David
