Closing Thoughts
This week I met with Scott Baker from TowneBank to discuss CrewPay.
Our discussion was good. He understood the concept and value proposition pretty quickly. He communicated they usually have two types of “partnerships” with tools/providers.
The first is when they use the software as their own and white label or brand it for their customers.
The second, which he felt like might be where CrewPay fits, is a third-party partner they can promote to their clients as a value-add service to create more stickiness and de-risk attrition.
He said these decisions were made in the Treasury Management department. As the next steps, he’s going to make an intro to their Treasure manager as well as we’re going to schedule a time for me to come and show the local staff the product so they’re aware.
