the very first one (sort of) + intro
If you’re reading this, you are likely one of the first people ever (or at least the one of the first dozen) that is reading this newsletter.
If you didn’t see my first email, no hard feelings, and suprise, you are one of the lucky few who I thought might enjoy/benifit/love/hate our newsletter, and I would love your feedback on how this one goes.
For the few of you on this list who don’t know me, I’m Peterson, co-founder of Creekside Marketing, and hopefully soon to be author of a very successful newsletter.
I started Creekside in college 5 years ago with my partner/roommate/teammate Cade working with just 1 business, and now we are an elite team of 6 ad experts + some support staff who have helped hundreds of business make tons of money.
I’ll also want to make a promise to use AI to write 0% of these emails (unless I change my mind, but I’ll let you know if that happens haha), so you can hear me and my team’s actual thoughts and opinions, not some AI slop we spit out in 30sec. And honestly I have no respect for the laws of grammar, so it should be pretty easy to tell a human is writing this
My expectation for this newsletter is to help you get to know myself and eventually the whole creekside team better. Not so we can just talk about ourselves, but so we can educate you on all our wins, and even the losses too, so you can learn more about all things marketing from whats actually working in the accounts right now and make tons of money yourself. Hopefully there’s a little something for everyone.
I’m still figuring out the shape of this newsletter as I go, so if anyone out there has feedback, good or bad, I welcome it and will read everything you send my way.
I’ll be starting out by publishing weekly, but I hope to ramp that up over time as I figure out what both you and I like me to write about
I want to actually enjoy writing this, not just put out a newsletter for the sake of it, so I’ll likely be exploring a variety of topics in the marketing (and broader business) world, and hopefully you’ll find them interesting enough to not delete.
you better be back for more,
Peterson
