~ March Makings ~
The weather is hot in Melbourne but its still fun to be creating something new, as we know the weather will change soon. The new goodies for winter are still coming and we are expecting some lovely yarns from NZ, which we’ll share with you next week.
We are also very excited to say that the new Shepherds Bush stocking will be here at the end of March. He was due Dec 24, so he’s a little late! His name is Olaf and you can pre order the chart or kit on our website now.
The Lumos lights have finally arrived back in stock! We now have the stylish Matte black as well, which is brand new. We have limited supplies of these again so get in quick as many missed out last time. Click on the pic to view
This beautiful new Cotton from Araucania is just so pretty. Huasco Coton Glisten is a 4 ply cotton with a pretty lurex thread running through it. Perfect for a bolero or cardi for a little girl or would make a lovely ladies top or shawl. 100 gr skein. Click on the pic to see the colours.
Our crochet teacher Veronica has recently had a family member diagnosed with cancer and she designed this lovely chemo cap out of Finesse cotton silk dk, which she kindly gave us. Finesse is the perfect yarn, it’s our “hidden gem” of yarns. Such good quality at a great price and super soft on the skin and a natural fibre. We have this as a free pattern with Finesse yarn, just click on the pic to view the colourways.
Our new Sock-a-long with Anne, which was booked out in one day, will be ongoing!
