Autumn is here and we’re looking forward to the cooler days and better crafting weather. It’s been lovely to see so many of you visiting the shop, even on those super hot days.

Some of the new seasons yarns have arrived and some are almost here!!

Panda has 2 new yarns which are now in stock. Both are lovely, very reasonably priced and fun! Firstly, Polar Puff, a supersoft chenille yarn with a gorgeous sparkle through it! At only $2.95 ball this is great for crocheting toys, amigurumi, gifts or knitting a fun jumper and is also perfect for kids. There are 2 leaflets, the childs leaflet includes patterns for the cute “puff pals” toys!

Panda Bliss is also new - a 10 ply super soft cotton blend yarn in 100 gr balls (200 mts per ball!) and a stunning colour range. Perfect for all sorts of garments, or baby blankets - knit or crochet. The much anticipated Eleanora from Patons is arriving this week! It is gorgeous and we have had it on pre order on our website. All our pre-orders will go out as soon as it arrives, so order now to be one of the very first. The colour shading in this yarn is beautiful. The yarn is so light with an amazing 225 mts per ball and some great leaflets to go with it. Just lovely xx

Many will be familiar with the wonderful Louise Crowther books featuring animals, toys, dolls etc. We stock a number of her amazing books and many designs use the Scheepjes ranges of yarns. This is what prompted us to stock this great range from Holland and it has proven to be very popular for all sorts of knitting & crocheting, so if you are a fan of toy and doll making check out our great new Scheepjes yarns. We listened to our customers on this one!
