Happy Fall!

Welcome to new people who signed up after seeing Folk Marry Kill at the incredible Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year! The audience members we met were all so kind, and we feel so grateful for this weird specific art form we’ve chosen (married musical comedy).

To be so real with you, the line between performing duo & actual couple is often so blurry, it doesn’t exist. We overshare, we give up date nights for gigs, we argue onstage, all to spread a little joy.

Now, after a brief break (read: Jewish holidays), we’re performing our 2025 Edinburgh show Honey Honey Moon Moon— this Saturday, September 26th at 7:30pm at ProArts Playhouse on Maui. If you live in Hawaii, or have friends there, send them our way! The craziest part? After tech-ing and performing our show, we may actually have a couple days to relax.

Here’s our Couple O’ Couplet things:

1. After our show in Hawaii on 9/26, we’re headed to New York where we’ve been added to the lineup at the Music Comedy Is Cool show at Union Hall on 10/8, with TBA shows in the Bay area late October, Chicago early November, and Los Angeles too. Looking ahead to December, we’ll be doing two shows and a songwriting workshop at the Ashland Sarcasm Festival from 12/4-12/6! Then Portland, Seattle, you’re next (and if you want to help us book a venue in your city, let us know)!

2. If you live in LA or NYC, Micah’s new musical concept album Good Guy with a Gun! has two live listening parties. Los Angeles: 9/30 at Outside In Theater to benefit Moms Demand Action, featuring special guest cast members (including Marnina). New York: 10/12 at Power Station.
