Year of da Snake
I'm sharing my latest releases, merch updates, and my shift away from Spotify for music's future.

Thank you for subscribing. In this newsletter I’ll send updates about my releases and some occasional rambling. It’s an attempt to move away from some of the big tech platforms for obvious reasons.
(1) YEAR0001 interviewed me and asked me to make a playlist of tunes that inspired my latest release Homeward Ryder. Read and listen here.
(2) This year I’ll release a couple of mixes, a live set recording, some remixes - both by me and of my music, maybe another video and hopefully at least two EPs. Seems doable…

(3) There’s still a limited amount of CM-merch left in the YEAR0001 store. I was pleased that the label helped me make the production as environmentally friendly as possible within the constraints of merch production. I think it’s pretty important not to make unnecessary physical objects unless you take this into consideration.
(4) I removed my self-released music from Spotify. There are several reasons for this. Going forward, I will focus on other platforms. I would never judge anyone for using Spotify. It’s a systemic issue. But we have to start looking at other options or else music is in big trouble.
(5) I’m starting to figure out a live-setup I’m comfortable with, so I’m gonna try to make that happen more often this year. Reach out to me if you’d like to book me for a live show or DJ set.
