What’s up
It's been a while since I last wrote a newsletter. Life has, as it often does, taken my attention. The real consumes the symbolic. As it should be.
I've always been someone who moves through phases of faith, doubt, and determination. It's often a painful process, but one that always, without fail, leads to some new form of insight. They say that's the fate of every fool walking the narrow path. And god knows, I am a fool.
When a snake sheds its skin, there's a moment, a transient in-between state, where the old skin still hangs half-attached to the body. Not yet reborn, but no longer what it was. It isn't pretty. But it leads to something. The same, and yet not.
Earlier this week I released a single. It's up on all the usual platforms. I wrote that song one evening in this state of halfway rebirth. I think that song will be part of a larger context that will unfold later.
Take it easy out there,
CM
