This has been a good month for comics!
Runaway Drakaina has just started its 9th chapter! The first page is up on Patreon/Ko-Fi and I have plans to get pages 2 and hopefully 3 done in September.
Dragon Quest Comic is finally making progress again! I have a new post about Throg & his dead family up on Patreon/Ko-Fi right now as well! I’m thinking I’m going to do a vertical slice comic of the very introduction to the story as an experiment to see how I want to make future pages. Those pages may be edited as the comic gets into motion for real, but it’ll be a good exercise.
If I don’t have that started for real by the time September ends you’re free to blast me about it.
Events Retrospective
I spent a lot of the summer prepping and attending art market stuff to see if I could make it, and I will be blunt: not really! At least not right now. I didn’t break even at the events I went to, and now I’m struggling to rebuild some of my extra funds. Financially, I’ll eventually be ok, but this has been a pretty stressful way to end the summer. As such, I won’t be attending any other shows for a while.
Halloween Commission Sale!
I’m putting my commissions on sale for the spooky holidays! Starting as September begins so people have plenty of time to weigh their options <3
How it works: when you contact me, you tell me which spooky theme you want for your character from the list!
$100 Ghost: pick a base color for a character’s ghostly appearance. This is going to be lineart with some fun ghostly color beneath!
$125 Undead: tell me how your character died and I’ll mess up their corpse real good for you. I’m willing to get bloody/gory, just discuss what you’re looking for before we get started.
$125 Halloween Costume: pick a Halloween costume for your character to wear! It can be a real picture you found online, or you can give me a general idea and I’ll take the reigns.
$150 Skeleton: the skeleton appear! I’ll draw your character’s skeleton, and optionally keep some accessories/clothes on them.
