A new era of Sara (and testing newsletter functions)

I’m writing this email after spending aboooouuuutttt 2 hours setting things up here with my newsletter service (buttondown) to customize the experience for myself AND y’all!
A lot of that included stuff like adding my header/icon images, picking how I want emails to start/end, and even how new subscribers will be welcomed in the future!
I would really like to enable folks to keep up with my work in the easiest ways possible. I would ALSO really like to stick with running a newsletter and make sure it’s an experience I have fun with too. Let’s hold hands and frolic gayly.
Additionally, some of those 2 hours were spent adding links TO my newsletter on most of the websites I could think of (my shop, my portfolio, my webcomic). Also, if this works, these emails should ALSO automatically crosspost over to bsky and my discord server.
Speaking of discord server, it’s been paywalled for a while since I’ve been scared to make it’s presence known to malevolent forces like spam bots. But going forward I maaaayyybbeeee will also include an invite link to the server through these emails :D
