Astrology Software That Bends to You—Not the Other Way Around
We believe astrology software should adapt to you—not force you into a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether you’re reading a horary chart in the tradition of Lilly or diving deep into a modern psychological natal chart, you should be able to instantly switch the way your chart is calculated and displayed.
Right now, we’re building a Perspective system—your personal, portable preferences for how charts are calculated, displayed, and styled. This means that every Chart and Ring you view can adapt instantly to the context you’re working in—whether that’s a natal reading, a horary judgment, or a mundane forecast.
Within each Perspective, you’ll have precise control over how placements, aspects, and orbs are handled. For example, when it comes to aspect calculation, you can choose from:
Aspect orbs – orbs on each of the aspects, from opposition to novile and everything in between.
Sign-based aspects – purely by sign, regardless of orb.
Planetary orbs – individual orbs for each planet.
Moiety method – using the sum of each planet’s half-orb.
Custom orbs – define your own for any planet, point, or aspect.
And because Perspectives are portable, you can instantly switch setups—say, from modern psychological work using Placidus houses with planetary orbs, to a traditional horary configuration with Regiomontanus houses and moiety-based aspects.
Your astrology software should be as curious and adaptable as your practice is.
We’re in pre-release and want to build this with the community—not for it in a vacuum. That’s why we’re inviting practitioners and researchers to join our design research sessions. There’s no sales pitch—just a genuine conversation about how you actually practice astrology. Tap the button, pick a date and time, and let’s get chatting!
Help us make sure Cosmic Plumbing supports your approach to astrology, whether you’re working in the lineage of Dorotheus, Lilly, or Liz Greene. Your voice now will shape the tools you’ll use later.
