Are you a researcher or practitioner working in nutrition and global health? Would you be interested in an opportunity to present your work to the alumni, trainees, and faculty of one of the largest training programs in international nutrition? If interested, please send a pitch of no more than 100 words or two slides including the topic and details of what will be covered to pindirector@cornell.edu. Applications from early career scientists (doctoral student, postdoc, junior faculty) are encouraged. Presentations will be virtual and receive an honorarium. Submissions will be reviewed and selected on a rolling basis.

Iron status and inflammation in women of reproductive age: A population-based biomarker survey and clinical study

The burden of anemia and iron deficiency among a cohort of women of reproductive age in India was substantial, and increased after adjusting for inflammation, suggesting potential to benefit from screening and interventions.
