Anaemia Innovation Challenge

Call for Innovations: Combat Anaemia in South Asia

Pitch your innovation to help prevent, diagnose, or treat anaemia among girls and women in South Asia. Selected applicants will receive a travel award to present their idea/product/technology at a regional conference for reducing anaemia in Colombo, Sri Lanka, July 9-11, 2025. Selected participants will also be invited to participate in the PORTENT Global Health Point-of-Care Diagnostics Accelerator. We're seeking digital and AI-based solutions that improve last-mile access in a cost-effective way. Deadline to submit your proposal is May 30th. Learn more and apply.

PORTENT Innovation Award Opportunity

To support the development of point-of-care technologies in nutrition, infection and cancer.

Through this RFP PORTENT will provide awards to teams developing point-of-care diagnostic technologies based on our criteria and those who need support for technology development, clinical validation, regulatory, commercialization/manufacturing, and clinical training to bring their product to market. Specifically, we aim to accelerate technologies that (1) are beyond the proof-of-concept stage and would benefit from clinical validation, (2) have been validated or even commercialized but want to expand reach and have additional impact, or (3) have been developed/incubated previously and show promise at addressing a market need locally in the US. Deadline to apply is June 6th. Learn more and apply.
