The Dalek Invasion of Earth’s VHS eluded me on its release in May 1990, being an expensive double tape set containing a story which was an earlier version of a film I already owned. Then, when BSB promised to show every extant Doctor Who story in order it became, as the eighth completely extant story chronologically speaking, a low priority to buy. After all, it would be on the telly soon.
