2025 is barreling towards its inevitable conclusion BUT FIRST: I gotta do approximately a DOZEN more shows between now and XMAS!
I don’t send out emails for EVERY show I do -- I’m at Raaaatscraps most Sunday nights at Caveat, and I usually have The Stepfathers & ASSSSCAT shows on the 3rd Friday of the month at UCBNY. I try to limit these emails so they don’t become too annoying! I also sometimes forgot to do them!
But here are a few shows that are coming up soon that I wanted you to know about!

If you have any comedy-loving friends in Chicago, please tell them about this show!
I took a risk in renting this venue -- for sentimental reasons, because it is the same building where my dad used to do improv with The Chicago Extension back in 1970/71 -- and I need for a few dozen more people to attend in order for this to not be a debacle! I know that there have to be a few dozen more Chicagoans who would enjoy this show who simply have not heard about it, despite my best efforts to publicize the show. It turns out it is kind of difficult to promote a one-off improv show in the Windy City.
As of the moment I’m typing this, the show only has 5 stray tickets left, so if you haven’t yet bought yours, act quickly!
THANKSGIVING WEEKEND: HOW TO GET CAST ON SNL!
My 2nd annual “How To Get Cast On SNL" workshop edition of CRpTAC will happen on Saturday night, 11/29, at 9pm.
No one from last year's class has made it into the cast of SNL yet, but these things take time! Come attend the most important/most affordable “How To Get Cast On SNL" workshop taught by someone who has NEVER auditioned for SNL.
DECEMBER 13th: FREE CRpTAC SHOW, A VIRTUAL FOOD DRIVE for FEEDING AMERICA
For my final CRpTAC of the year, a special FREE 2-hour show on Saturday afternoon, 12/13, from Noon to 2pm ET. This will is going to be a virtual food drive fundraiser for Feeding America. You can go ahead and make a donation HERE, if you want to. Even a small amount can help a few people in a meaningful way!
This will be my 2nd annual “Secular Santa Workshop,” devoted to the art & craft of the extremely malleable seasonal role of Santa Claus, a part that can be played by anyone because Santa is magical.
I’ll also be heading out west in January to do CRpTAC and GLTS shows at Dynasty Typewriter and for SF Sketchfest!
