This Friday night, I’ll be headlining the Steelstacks Improv Comedy Festival in Bethlehem, PA!

This is a terrific festival that I’ve performed at before with Raaaatscraps, but this will be the first time I’ll be bringing my solo show there!

Thursday, 1/29 in NYC

The first CRpTAC at UCBNY is gonna be a doozy.

I’ve been doing this show monthly in NYC for nearly two full years, in addition to bringing the show to more and more places around the U.S.A., but the hometown shows have been essential to me figuring out what this show is, and why I want to keep doing it.

2025 was the most unpredictable year I’ve experienced in terms of fluctuating audience size since I started doing Comedy in New York 15 years ago. One month, I’d have a packed house, and the next would be nearly empty. I’ve been hoping that strong word-of-mouth would help the show develop a consistent audience, but I suspect there are other factors in play that have little to do with me or the show.

(Thanksgiving weekend has always been a great time to do shows, but the difference between 2024 and 2025 seemed to reflect a severe drop in tourism that is probably going to only get worse until someone who isn’t mentally deranged occupies the White House.)

I have a theory that CONNOR RATLIFF presents THE ACTING CLASS has a significant number of “future audience members”-- as in, people who fully intend to get around to coming to see the show at some point. “Maybe next month!”

If you are one of those people, I’ll take this moment to encourage you to attend this month's show, on Thursday, January 29th at 8:30pm. I think it is going to be a good one. (For those of you who can’t make it to the theater, there are also be a livestream tickets available!)
