Portland, Maine: August 7-9! 2 shows + 1 workshop!
I don’t know if there is anyone in Maine who is aware I exist, but I guess I’m going to find out this week!
I’m going to be reuniting with my pals in the band GUSTER this Friday night for their “Hits & Bits" Music & Comedy show at The State Theatre. I did half a tour with them back in 2020 (cut off by the pandemic, as chronicled in my early pandemic episode of my podcast, Dead Eyes) and since then our only live performance together has been a single number at a Hits & Bits show in NYC last year. Very excited to see what happens this Friday night, I have no idea what it is gonna be like!
That show is SOLD OUT, but I’m coming up a day early to do a show that is currently NOT sold out!
I’m bringing CONNOR RATLIFF presents THE ACTING CLASS to Portland Media Center on Thursday night!
I’ve already gotten one comment from a local who is going to be out-of-town saying, “please bring the show back some other time!” I hope I’m able to, though the determining factor on whether or not I bring the show back to any town or city is whether other not I can afford to, and that depends on how many people come to the show the first time! The next year or so is going to be me figuring out if there is a sustainable audience for this show as a touring act. Maybe there is, maybe there isn’t!
