CONNOR'S PIZZA [feature film] World Premiere in TORONTO this Wednesday

If you live in Toronto — or know people who do — please help spread the word about this Wednesday's world premiere screening of Connor's Pizza, selected by the 1st Annual TIFFF (Toronto Indie Funny Film Festival). It will be playing at 10pm on 3/26 at Eyesore Cinema, and your ticket comes with a free slice of pizza!

For those of you who are asking the quite reasonable question, “what is Connor's Pizza?”, allow me to give you a small amount of background information.
In 2019, Tom Levin and I shot this feature film in less than 24 hours, with a production budget of less than $100 [the cost of 5 pizzas]. It had no script, just a list of possible scenes, which we called “slices.”
The movie would be a plotless remake of Rosemary's Baby, but instead of Rosemary, it would be me, and instead of a baby, it would be a pizza. The similarities end there, as I do not at any point in the film give birth to a pizza.
We have already been rejected from multiple major film festivals, with several more pending. Conventional wisdom tells us to hold out for a “yes" from one of the big festivals, to save our “world premiere" status for one of them -- but when the fledgling TIFFF offered us a last-minute slot this Wednesday, we couldn’t say no to the opportunity.
Alas, Tom and I can’t be there in-person. But we are hopeful that at least a few curious moviegoers will turn up to be among the first to witness our cinematic curio.
We are unsure when or where this film will be screened again, as we have no plans to ever put it online — though that could just be an empty threat, and we reserve the right to change our mind. But the plan is for Connor's Pizza to be a thing that people have to experience in a movie theater.
